Produced in association with the documentarian brothers Eric (National Geographic Wild's Lion Warriors) and Stig Godal (Rooted in Peace) together forming Original Godal Productions and bringing their narrative film of the life of Missionary-Evangelist Dr. Carlo Bruno Caporrimo, adapted from the auto-biographical novel, From Mafia Boss to the Cross.
Slated for Christian distribution markets, the 82 minute documentary film chronicles the life, times and radical transformation of a one time jewel bandit who, in his prime, was touted as the #2 jewel thief in America after the infamous 'Murph the Surf' who lifted the J.P. Morgan jewel collection in 1964. Carlo Bruno, also a operator of nightclubs in 1960 Mid-town New York City, brings a compelling case for redemption and a new lot in life, through the atoning work of the cross, in this heartfelt, close-up interview of his life and world as seen through his eyes.
